Year 6/1 Netball

On Sunday 19 July, our Year 6 Netball team participated in the NNH Junior Tournament. The girls turned up bright and early, super keen to finally play their first game of 2020 at Onewa. They played 4 strong games in grade section, utilising all the skills gained from all their training. After 4 consecutive wins against Freemans Bay, Devonport, Torbay and Campbells Bay, they made the final!

Our support crew thankfully multiplied in time for the final against Birkenhead. Throwing all their strength and energy into the last game saw the girls come away with a well-deserved win!
