World Vision 40 km Walk
On Sunday, the 20th of May, 26 students and three adults embarked on walking 40km for World Vision.
The students started at Pinehurst School at 6.30am and did not get back to school until after 5pm. The journey involved climbing a few local hills as well as crossing the sea (which happened to be at high tide).
Despite the challenge of walking for over 10 hours, the students persevered and so now truly know what it’s like to walk in a refugee’s shoes.
If you want to show your support for any of the students who took part in this walk, please go onto the Pinehurst School World Vision page HERE and make a donation.
Special thanks to Amanda Ridgway and Tony Cradwick for their assistance on the day.
