I started Pinehurst in Year 7 and graduated in 2010. After a year on the Rotary Youth Exchange in the USA I returned to Auckland and spent a year Studying a Bachelor of Health Science but I didn’t enjoy that course of study so I applied to the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and moved countries again, starting there in 2013.
Since then I have completed a Bachelor of Forensic Biology in Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Forensic Science in Applied Chemistry (Honours) with first class. Currently, I am studying to complete a Ph.D. in Forensic Biology. My research is looking into DNA degradation in post-mortem body tissues. I am also currently employed by the university as a casual academic, teaching chemistry and principles of forensic science to first year students.
