What is the Shore to Shore?

The annual Shore to Shore is the largest fun run on the North Shore averaging over 5,000 children, parents, grandparents and anyone else who enjoys having fun while supporting their school. The Shore to Shore starts at Takapuna Grammar, goes along Takapuna and Milford beaches, finishing at Milford reserve.  It is followed by prize giving and loads of spot prizes.

All participants have a choice to enter either:

 - Fun Run/walk ($10)

 - Official timed run (includes a timing chip $15).

NB: the timed component enables participants to receive an official finishing time.

Please note: the exact distance of the course is 5.9km.

Every participant who enters the 2014 Shore to Shore will earn “Sports Equipment Dollars” which they then can nominate a school in the Harbour Region. This money will go towards purchasing new sports equipment within that school. Last year's $28,000 was given back to schools to purchase sports gear.

The more people from your school community you get involved in this great event the more sports equipment you earn.
